[영어속담] A little is better than none
A little is better than none
Proverbial Meaning: Don’t complain about how much you have – i.e. money, food, toys etc.
Literal Origins: You should be pleased with what you have, as it is better than having nothing at all.
Common Usage: This proverb is a lot more common during times of war or economic depression, for obvious reasons. Still, the paraphrase, “it’s better than nothing” is very much alive and in common use.
