Responsibilities:

  • Sales Trading of cash equities and listed derivatives business
  • Actively market the platform by providing detailed insight into SG’s offering to the clients
  • Develop and strengthen our commercial relations with our clients and counterparties in order to grow our business in line with our overall strategy
  • Enrich existing, and grow new, client relationships through idea generation, client interactions, and superior service

Profile Required

Key skill areas & knowledge required:

  • Excellent knowledge of Global Equity markets, including trading, operations, and regulations
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the listed derivatives framework, associated contracts, and regulatory framework
  • Experience of client service (sales trading, sales advisor, etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of Prime Services and products
  • Understanding of client relationships within the Global Equities community, Securities companies, asset managers, and hedge funds in Korea
  • Good understanding of the types of products/strategies most likely to suit Korean investors

Qualifications:

  • 2:6 year’ experience in cash equities or listed derivatives business
  • Has been operating within Korean client business for at least 2 years
  • Working experience in Korean securities companies is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skill and statistical knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to quickly understand new products and trades
  • Socially likeable and user-friendly
  • Hard-working, diligent, and strong commitment to the team is a must
