The Customer Group (CG) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Sales, Marketing, Applications, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities & IT. They partner closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, services, software and expertise, to help them manage yield throughout their fabrication process—from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our service organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and corporate offering to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing worldwide capital equipment and support revenue for South Korea based large strategic accounts of KLA. This person will work closely with colleagues and be responsible for creating the strategy and execution for driving the sale of KLA products and services into a range of semiconductor markets.
He or she will manage a team of sales and technical professionals responsible for developing and executing sales strategy and delivery of our onsite support model. He or she will work closely with the technical and product teams in KLA headquarters and factories to execute against the strategy. The successful candidate will build and manage customer relationships at all levels. He or she will also take a leadership role in talent development and acquisition to ensure continuous improvement of the sales and support channel.
The successful candidate will have had extensive experience in developing relationships at large complex organizations. She or he will have managed sales targets and team goals. Experience in selling capital equipment into leading edge semiconductor customers is a must. The understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience are critical.
- 15+ years of sales, product management or business development of complex technology products into large worldwide accounts.
- Strategic account management expertise, the ability to manage change and the desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers
- Deep knowledge and experience in building complex financial models that create win-win situations for KLA and its customers
- Strong technical understanding of semiconductor capital equipment systems especially systems targeted at process control.
- Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally and externally
- Good team management and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills
- Experience in negotiating complex deal in competitive situations
