Customs broker found dead

MANILA, Philippines - The body of a female Customs broker was found lying on a pile of garbage in a vacant lot in Taytay, Rizal yesterday morning.

Catherine Lee of Las Piñas City has two gunshot wounds in the face.

Senior Superintendent Rolando Anduyan, Rizal police director, said a garbage collector, Hermie Prenia, found Lee’s body at around 7:15 a.m.

Scene of the Crime Operatives led by Chief Inspector Ruben Apostol said a Nokia C-3 cellular phone, a gold ring and a silver bracelet, believed to be owned by the victim, were recovered from the crime scene.
